Fridg is leaking water...HELP!?

We rent and I don't want to call my landlord just yet. Our refrigerator is leaking water. It has the freezer on the top and the refrigerator on the bottom. In side the refrigerator part it has about half inch of water every other day. It gets so bad its leaking on to the floor and making a huge mess. The Freezer never needs defrosted I have never seen ice in there. How can we stop this?
