If you have the implant taken out can you go get it put back in a few months later if you wanted?

I had the implant in last year October time, But had it removed as i thought i suffered bad side effects from it and had it taken out. But knowing what i know now i realize i wasn't suffering from side effects it was just part of my depression If i went back to the doctor who put it in and took it out would they let me have it again?
