let's put an end to corporate welfare. we have a system that encourages companies to evade paying taxes. companies will move to other locations to evade tax. the corporate leaders are not accountable as you see by their behavior of excess bonuses when the work they do fails to save a company (ie wamu). Also, you get to see ceos lavish themselves with spa treatments. this system at the ceo level has no relationship to hard work. in my personal experience as a common worker for a company, i worked 70 hours a week without compensation for those extra 30 hours for years. only to see my high tech job outsourced overseas while ceos were given huge bonuses as the company closed the plant down and my job was outsourced. without a strong middle cl the rich will continue to see their wealth redistributed down. the rich own all the companies and the middle cl buys their products. if leaders fail to pay attention to the needs of the middle cl, the middle cl will be happy to bring down the rich with us. label it as you wish... but the fact is the rich will only benefit from a strong middle cl.
