We have a pit so what?

We own two wonderful pit bulls. They are great my male is a therepy dog and we go to schools to educate kids they think he is cute and he gives all kisses. He has never acted aggressive it is how they are raised and how you treat them when they are pups. Mine give all the love they have nd I would not no love without these dogs they saved our life before Christmas by getting us all out of the house because of a carbon monoxide leak that is loyalty if i ever saw it so why should I get rid of my dogs? My neighbor hates my dogs we are thinking of buying the house we are in now but we want our neighbor to understand the breed I have shown her books and articles about my breed the good and bad and she has called the pund several times and then she gets mad because they just wont take the dogs. personnally I am scared of her dog she has a er and I was bit by my aunts when I was young what should i do please help the pound says we have to deal with it?
