Consider these facts. Does this make you change your prediction for Super Bowl champion?

Over the last 15 seasons prior to this year, of the 30 teams that have been the #1 seed in either the AFC or the NFC, only 13 of them have made it to the Super Bowl, with a collective record of 6-7 in the Super Bowl. In addition, of the last five champions, their playoff seedings within their conferences have been #2 (Pats, 2004), #6 (Steelers, 2005), #3 (Colts, 2006), #5 (Giants, 2007), and #2 (Steelers, 2008). Do these stats in any way discourage you from boldly predicting an inevitable Colts-Saints Super Bowl?
