Describe how can the addition of harmonics can change the feeling of a sound?

What you feel when you hear a sound is subjective and it depends on your ear. The ear and ociated brain which interprets the sound are more satisfied by harmonic sounds than pure notes. So what you feel (after what is heard and modified by the ear/brain combination) depends on the harmonics.
