Last time we texted/messaged was 5 months ago, should i contact him again? i really miss him?

hey dude.. uhm firstly, you didn't include how long you've been talking to him or known him before he asked you out the frist time. Usually if a guy asks you out and you say no, they get really hurt so its like he still liked you and the idea of you, but in the back of his head he remembered what you did to him because it takes a lot of courage for guys to ask a girl out that they like and when the girl turns them down (did u have a reason??) their pride is really hurt but they also try to hid it and of course he doesn't text you as much because he doesn't wat to like you more than he probably still does
