Must-Haves For A High School Girl's Closet?

I need new clothes. I usually just wear black tees with bands or something on them, but I'm getting tired of it. I'm not loaded, so I can't afford $50 tees and $70 jeans. What are the "basics" that I'll need in my closet, and where can I get them?
