Can anyone convince me that Twilight is actually a good series?

I know I'm probably get hate answers from the minions know as twitards but whatever. Twilight is THE worst thing to happen to the paranormal romance genre. Honestly speaking nowadays vamps are what's in so you could of chosen any vamp book and these sheep would follow. But of course the kiddy book was adapted to film because the market that makes the most money is for ages under 18. All of the characters are shallow and easily predictable. The vampires sparkle? They can be in daylight? They can sustain solely on animal blood? Wouldn't a vegetarian vamp drink plant blood(juice)? You kill an animal for it's blood, when it's just as easy to tap a human and keep them living. How about Edward is over 100 years old and should have the mentality of a man that age but still acts very immature and is attracted to a teenager. That a man that has been dead for 90 years can still produce kids? Or how someone stuck with eternal youth and beauty be a virgin cause he's scared? He couldn't have a few mistakes with it to actually cause the fear? Of course not cause that is developing a character. Any teenage girl would fall for an attractive immortal cause no one else understands. It is a relationship based on beauty and mystery, nothing deep to be compared to romeo and juliet as I heard some kids say. He stalks her, lets himself in her private residence which is another vamp no no, and watches her sleep. wtf? Are we teaching our younger generations to have a watered down version of the y, dangerous, immortals that have left a brand on the world? I actually tried to read the first book years ago and it was the first book I had to return due to the ridiculousness of the plot and characters. I tried to watch the movie and I had to pause and take a break cause I was bored to death, with everyone talking about feelings every other scene.This whole Twilight thing is absolutely ruining it for the real fans of the genre. What's worse is that these children instead of venturing out to find better reading are obsessing and worshiping this series. People are getting into fights, spending thousands on overpriced clothes, and lashing out at any who disagree because we are so ignorant and can't possibly understand a book about teenagers undead or not. In my Opinion TWILIGHT SUCKS! Prove me wrong.
